DAILY FLOW

Managing and communicating with 6-12 assigned clients to collect required documents, respond to inquiries within 24 hours, and maintain accurate, organized documentation throughout the monthly and quarterly close process

Recording and categorizing day-to-day financial transactions, completing monthly and quarterly bank and credit card reconciliations, and preparing initial month-end closes, including posting journal entries, loan balances, and fixed asset schedules

Owning the accounts receivable and payable processes, including entering bills and customer invoices, tracking payments, attending bill payment meetings, and reviewing deposits and cash activity

Submitting payroll and tracking payroll data to ensure timely, compliant processing

Assisting with preparation and initial review of tax filings, quarterly income tax projections, Form 1099s, and year-end analyses

Tracking project progress, time, and tasks daily to meet deadlines, and ensure seamless service delivery

Working collaboratively with internal teams, participating in training sessions, adapting to evolving tools and processes, and contributing to a positive, high-performing team environment
THE ESSENTIALS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; Associate’s degree with equivalent experience also considered
-
1-2 years of recent accounting experience, preferably managing multiple clients or entities; advisory and/or tax experience a plus.

Strong understanding of GAAP and general financial reporting standards

1-2 years of recent QuickBooks Online experience and ProAdvisor certification preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Power BI) required.

Bonus points for familiarity with Sage Intacct, BILL, and CCH Axcess Suite (Axcess Tax, Workflow (formerly XCM), Engagement, Time & Billing)

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines independently and collaboratively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an innate drive towards proactive client service, personal development, self-awareness, and professional teamwork

Salary: $60,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience
