THE ROLE
We’re seeking a well-seasoned Tax Manager/Supervisor to join our dynamic team. You’re the kind of tax pro who thrives in a collaborative environment, and appreciates a firm that values work-life balance and genuine connection. You’ll be preparing and reviewing a wide variety of tax returns and projections for a range of clients in the real estate, cannabis and entertainment industries. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and detail review high-level partnership, S Corp and individual tax return preparation
- Deliver a full range of tax services for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, etc.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
- Handle tax research assignments, analyze tax code and regulations, notices, and other issues from various tax authorities
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (Required)
- 3-5+ years of recent tax preparation experience in public accounting required
- 1-2+ years of recent experience detail reviewing tax returns preferred
- CPA or EA license, or eligibility and willingness to pursue either preferred
- A strong bookkeeping background preferred
- US work authorization (Required)
- Experience with ProConnect Tax, Karbon, CCH Tax Research, CFS Tax Tools, Microsoft Office, Office Tools, and/or QuickBooks a plus

- Compensation: $70,000-$135,000, depending on experience
- Two weeks vacation
